Subject:        Eric Sams

It is with great regret that I report the passing of Eric Sams, a great
Shakespearean and a fine scholar of Brahms. Eric's book, The Real
Shakespeare, is a classic whose stature, like his reputation, will grow
as we take the measure of our loss.
