Subject: Shakespearean Intertexts in British Novel

Vickers, Salley, 2001, Instances of the Number Three. Farrar, Straus &
Giroux, New York.

There are very good pieces interwoven with Hamlet, a ghost that is
called an angel, in the Vickers fashion*, and a character called
Cordelia. Excellent novel that explores the nature of the triangle,
naturally!

Enjoy!
