Einstein once stated that the definition of insanity is to do the same
thing over and over again, expecting different results. I certainly
won't ever know as much as Charles proffers on the subject of
Shakespeare, but if you get that jaded from that much knowledge, maybe
that's a good thing.

I would suggest that Brian, whom I respect for his posts and enjoy his
barbs, and others just learn that for those who have made up their
minds, it would be insanity to expect different results using the same
arguments over and over again.

Alan

ps. I do find the comments funny and that does brighten my day a bit -
if only for a minute or two.

I know that some will probably not listen, but could we please have a
little less of this?

Brian Willis writes:

'Leave it to Charles to judge a production before they even begin
rehearsals. Open your mind, Charles. It's a terrible thing to waste.'

There is nothing more closed-minded than refusing to learn from repeated
experience. And my time is an even more terrible thing to waste. "

Indeed, none at all would be nice. Things had been rather reasonable
and professional after Hardy's break, but I suppose it was too much to
expect it to continue. Personal insults should be dealt with personally
and in private, so far as most of us are concerned.
