Subject: Best Cinematic Hamlet?
I downloaded the 1980 BBC Hamlet to play and am in the middle of it,
watching dribs and drabs with the Raffel 2003 Yale text for reference. I
am somewhat inclined to think that Hamlet's cautions to the players
should have been read by the person playing Hamlet. But maybe that is
just me in my laid-back mode. Then again ...
So the question is:
Who is the best cinematic Hamlet?
Cheers, S
