Subject: Midsummer Nights in Melbourne

For those who live in or near Melbourne, Australia, a production of A
Midsummer Night's Dream opens tonight (Tuesday 6 July) at Trades Hall in
Carlton, and runs until the 17th.

It's an edgy interpretation of the text, set in a nightclub and
involving drugs, bondage and the seamier side of club life. Not
everyone's cup of tea, no doubt, but the set and costumes are
eye-catching and the performance is full of energy.

I'm biased, of course; I'm playing Peter Quince in my "Club Athens"
T-shirt (the Mechanicals are bar staff).

For more information, see the website at:

The booking number is 0423 115779.
