For what it's worth to this forum, Dramatics Magazine polls high school
teachers every year to see what is most often produced in the HS venue.
The only Shakes to make the top 10 ten list in 02-03 was Midsummer.

But in 01-02 both Midsummer and Shrew were on the list

Every so often they compile a list of the most produced plays since they
started the lists in 1937, but I could not find that online.

I would be interested in knowing if there is a professional level and/or
college equivalent to this survey, so that we could have some actual
evidence of the most produced plays. Maybe I should abandon my current
proposal for my master's thesis and pursue this research project instead!

Susan.
