Dear SHAKSPEReans,

First, let me remind everyone that there will be a two-week hiatus in
SHAKSPER beginning after this Friday's mailings. It would be nice if
ongoing threads could be brought to a conclusion before that time.

Second, on Friday, a number of you received a message reporting to be
from

  requesting that you open a non-existing
attachment. Well, I did not send that message. As near as I can
determine, it simply is harmless spam, spoofing my address. In the
future, any messages you receive appearing to be from me or the list
that are not in the SHAKSPER digest format should be immediately
deleted. Sorry, to waste time with this.
