Well, yes and no to John W. Kennedy's response to Richard Burt. I did
not work my way through the 2,340,000 hits when I typed in "MLA" or the
2,630,000 when I typed in "Modern Language Association of America," but
it is the case that in neither instance was the MLA's home web page
among those which came up in the first two screens. Of course that is
found, easily enough, at http://www.mla.org/ There is information on
the NVS at http://www.mla.org/comm_shakespeare
