Subject:        Inga-Stina Ewbank

The many friends world-wide of Inga-Stina Ewbank, Emeritus Professor of
the University of Leeds, will be saddened to hear of her death on Monday
morning. She died peacefully at home after a short and painless illness.
She was a fine scholar and critic, an inspiring, dedicated and greatly
loved teacher, and the most generous and caring of friends. The funeral
is to be at St Barnabas Church, Ealing, London at 11.30 on 17 June.
