Subject:        Measure for Measure Production

I would be most interested in the opinions of list members that have
seen the current production of Measure for Measure by the Chicago
Shakespeare Theatre at Chicago's Navy Pier.
As for me, it was my first great disappointment with the CST.

I felt that the gratuitous crude sexual vulgarity in completely
contrived cafe scenes destroyed the Shakespearean essence of this
production. The time could have been much better spent in more fully
developing the characters.
