Subject: RSC/Stratford Questions

Friends, I'm thrilled that my two oldest and myself will *finally* be
able to travel from Oregon to Stratford-upon-Avon this spring and take
in a couple of RSC productions, including Twelfth Night and Thomas More.

I have two questions, for those in-the-know: First, we will be walking
the better part of the way between Stratford and Salisbury, and
therefore traveling *very* light--there may be no room in our backpacks
(or "rucksacks", if you prefer) for skirts and nice clothes. Will we
feel terribly out of place in clean slacks and tidied-up walking shoes?

Secondly, has anyone any information on the casting for the RSC's TN and
Thomas More? Alas, I'm still in mourning for the fact that we've missed
Toby Stephens' Hamlet.

Sixth and lastly, we don't know yet if we'll be able to squeeze in a few
days in London and the Globe/National Theatre...any theatre
recommendations from members for the merry month of May in case we
manage it?

Thanks all,
Debra Murphy
