Subject:        Shakespeare Institute Open Day

SHAKSPERians may be interested in the Shakespeare Institute Open Day
being held on 23 April to coincide with the Stratford-upon-Avon Birthday
celebrations.

Entrance is free and the day includes:

Staged readings of short Jacobean comedies including 'Wine, Beer and Ale
together by the Ears' performed by the Shakespeare Institute Renaissance
Drama Research Group

Lecture by Dr John Jowett on 'What did Shakespeare write?' (in the
Lecture Hall)

'Scenes of Seduction and Persuasion in Shakespeare' from the recent
production 'Willful', performed by the Shakespeare Institute Players

Seminar on 'Shakespeare's Texts' by Dr Catherine Alexander
