Subject:        Passing of Martin Lings

It is with sadness that I report the passing of Martin Lings early in
the morning of May 12, 2005, at his home in England.  I feel very
fortunate to have known him and to have been able to film an interview
with him related to his life of Shakespeare scholarship, writing,
teaching and lecturing. Dr. Lings book, THE SACRED ART OF SHAKESPEARE,
with a forward by HRH the Prince of Wales, highlights the deeper
spiritual aspects to be found in Shakespeare's later works.

His passing is a deep personal loss to for me, and his scholarship will
be missed.
