Subject: Any man who sayeth
"Any man who sayeth doth not stand upon need, Needeth not lest he stand
in want of need."
These words were attributed to Shakespeare in the comic strip *Shoe* on
22 Jan. 1986. They are not his, certainly, but possibly this is a
paraphrase that I don't recognize. Does anyone recognize a passage the
the writer is trying to recall?
