I much enjoyed the musical based on Two Gentlemen of Verona at
Shakespeare in the Park last night. Kathy went and got the free tickets.
It rained a bit off and on and the stage got wiped. Kathy has taken
people to see several of the Broadway musicals recently and she felt
this was vastly superior. My reaction was that since the show is nothing
if not fun and lusty the Bard himself would be a prime invitee to this
performance if time travel were possible. I would propose it for his
first vision of what happened to his work over time. And he might not be
displeased. It was an instructive encounter. Best, S
