I wish to God I could feel safe in telling you just how many ways I find 
this rumor too, too, funny...

Oh, well. At least, if Cruise actually believed he was Shakespeare once, 
he would be in good, if not great, company. Though I don't know if he'd 
be invited to any reincarnational reunions!

George Bernard Shaw also believed he was a reincarnation of WS. Among a 
few others I can personally think of...;)

If you thought you, or anyone else, might even remotely be a 
reincarnation of WS or one of his fellows, who would it be? I know this 
is sort of a trivial question for a group like this, but I thought I'd 
put it out there.

Tom Cruise did not say in a Toronto newspaper interview that he was 
William Shakespeare in a previous life. He said he was Edward De Vere.
