Subject: Another request or help: Shakespeare and aging
I wonder what we can say about Shakespeare's attitude toward aging.
Certainly in the Sonnets, say 73, he shows no fondness for it.
But what about his other writings?
Does he represent mellowing or wisdom or anything else positive about
growing old?
