Al Margery comments upon the battle of Agincourt

were at least 8,000 men in Henry's army, compared with 12,000 on the
French side."

I don't think the 8,000 has ever been in question, it's that the French
purportedly had 50,000. It's very interesting to see they only had
12,000. This makes sense.
