Subject: The Rose Theatre in Southwark
The site and remains of the Rose Theatre in Southwark were partially
uncovered in 1989 and rescued from the bulldozers. Since then the Rose
Theatre Trust has protected the site and is raising funds to re-excavate
and display the remains and artifacts. The Rose is short-listed for a
London blue plaque to mark the site, but needs as many votes as it can
get. Anyone can vote from anywhere in the world via the internet. If you
would like to offer support, please send an e-mail entitled 'The Rose
Theatre' to
