Subject: 	Folger Acquisitions Night Adopt-a-Book Catalogue

Dear Reader:

The Folger's annual benefit for the Acquisitions Program is coming up - 
Thursday, March 2nd. It's an important evening, as all proceeds go 
toward funding rare acquisitions for the last quarter of the fiscal year.

Some Readers have asked us to share in advance the Adopt-a-Book 
catalogue, which provides descriptions of over 100 rare books, 
manuscripts, and works of art acquired over the last 12 months that will 
be on display. This year we are trying something new: mounting an 
electronic copy of the catalogue on the Folger website.

I want to take this opportunity to direct you to the Acquisitions Night 
webpage, where you can learn more about this event and print or view the 
catalogue online. Instructions are also provided for those who wish to 
purchase tickets or adopt items by email. Partial item adoptions and 
adoptions by groups are welcome.
