Subject: Shakespeare and Prince Henry
Dear SHAKSPERians,
I was wondering if someone could clarify any kind of acquaintance
whatsoever which might have existed between Shakespeare and Prince Henry
in the 1590s, as well as any knowledge of Henry's life which Shakespeare
might have had, and the reasons for it.
I could not find any useful bibliography, except for an article claiming
that Shakespeare's hints at Henry in A Midsummer Night's Dream might be
another piece of evidence in favour of the Marlowe-wrote-Shakespeare
theory, since Marlowe might have been sent to Scotland just around the
time Henry was born.
Could anyone give any bibliographical advice?
I thank you all in advance.
All the best,
Sara Trevisan
