Renaissance/Early Modern Literature
Tenure-track Assistant Professor, with a focus on sixteenth and
seventeenth-century poetry and prose. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in
hand by Fall 2007, demonstrate excellence in research and express
interest in teaching in a program with a strong cultural
studies/historicist component. New faculty will build the
interdisciplinary focus of our graduate and undergraduate curricula,
teaching a range of courses related to their specialty and current
research interests. Known for its congenial and collaborative English
Department, Eastern Michigan University is located in the Ann
Arbor-Detroit area. Internal grant opportunities are available. Send
