Having very recently catalogued this episode for the International
Database of Shakespeare on Film, Television and Radio I have spent a
good deal of time trying to find an archive that holds a copy (I am
pretty certain there is no copy in theatric or non-theatric
distribution). Your query has inspired me to renew my efforts and if I
am successful I will send a posting.

Following from my previous posting it may be helpful to know, or be
reminded, that the script (in Italian) of the Pasolini episode appears
in Cinema & Film, no,7-8. Winter-Spring 1969, pp73-85.

I am not aware of any version with subtitles. "Capriccio all'italiana"
came out on DVD last year, I believe. Here is the link to an Italian
Internet bookshop it can be bought from:
http://www.internetbookshop.it/dvd/ser/serpge.asp?ty=kw&x=capriccio+all%27italiana.
(This is what I did). It is worth watching it and meditating upon the
Velasquez paintings. The song the singer / puppet master-Domenico
Modugno, famous, I believe, for "Volare"-sings is taken from an Italian
translation of Othello.
Good luck,
Maurizio Calbi
