Dear Mr. Cook,
It is my understanding, or so I have seen it cited, that the former
professor of English literature at the University of Baghdad, Jabra
Ibrahim Jabra, had translated the complete works of Shakespeare as well
as Faulkner.
Does your organization have any knowledge of such a translation into
Arabic? Yes, I have tried Baghdad University. No answer, at this point,
from them.
Whatever information or reference you can send my way I would appreciate.
Cheers,
S. Castel de Oro
Prof. of Arabic & Spanish
