Subject: 	Sotheby's to Auction First Folio (1623)

Hello, all!

Far too rich an enterprise for my blood, but I just wanted to make sure
that all interested parties know that Sotheby's will be auctioning the
first folio of Shakespeare's plays on 13 July 2006. Estimated value
(USD) is $4.5-6M.

It would look lovely, under someone's Christmas tree. (I've alerted the
Folger, more practically.)

The article is in the _Antiques and the Arts Weekly_ for 26 May 2006, p.24.
