Subject: 18.0105 Understanding Antony
Comment: RE: SHK 18.0105 Understanding Antony
William Godshalk suggests that I "read the newspapers or that [I] stop
for an online info-snack.
Heaven help me, I am compelled to do more of that than I like, and I do
as little as possible.
But I think he misunderstands me (and, re-reading the passage of mine
that he quoted, I can see why). What I meant was that as long as we all
recognize that the cultural viewpoints of our time are just as
self-serving and foolish as those of earlier times, then we are on sound
footing. This recognition may, of course, include some popular "isms,"
but wotthehell.
Cheers,
don
