It's sad to hear of Richardson's death. About 30 years ago, I was
fortunate enough to attend a beautiful performance of Richard II with
him in the title role (He and Richard Pasco alternated Richard and
Bolingbroke -- Pasco was really good, too); the abdication scene was
incredibly powerful. I'm lucky to have been able to see that. He'll be
sorely missed.
