Is the company you refer to above the one generally known as The Actors'
Shakespeare Project? Whose excellent Winter's Tale I saw 2 weeks ago at
the Cambridge (Massachusetts) Multicultural Arts Center? The one
headed by fellow SHAKSPER-lister Ben Evett?
Or is there another Shakespeare company in the Boston/Cambridge area
coincidentally doing this same play? If so, I will try to see that one,
too-- I've seen fine ones like the ASP's and Shakespeare & Co.'s, and
some merely passible and a few botched ones; but none yet that is
completely satisfying. I'm not quite as obsessive as Patrick Stewart,
who said in an interview that after playing Leontes in (I think it was)
8 productions he'd like one more try to "get it right"-- but the play
does continue to fascinate me.
