Two other recent deaths seem to have gone unremarked on *SHAKSPER*: the 
distinguished critic and scholar A D Nuttall died on January 24 and the 
former Royal Shakespeare Co. director Steven Pimlott died last week of 
throat cancer at 53.  Fortunately, Nuttall's last work, *Shakespeare the 
Thinker, *was completed before his death and will be out from Yale UP in 
April.  Pimlott, who worked most recently with the National Theatre, 
directed a controversial production of *Antony and Cleopatra *with Alan 
Bates and Fraces de la Tour that some members may remember from 
Stratford a few years ago.
