Subject: Ian Richardson & Co.
A.D. Nuttall was a wonderful critic whose contributions are, in my view,
yet to be fully appreciated.
His criticism of Shakespeare's histories is some of the best I've read,
and his plea for a "new mimesis" is superbly argued and compelling. I
look forward to reading his new book on Shakespeare as a thinker, and I
will greatly miss him and the fact that there are no more of his books
or articles to come.

I remember enjoying what of Nuttall's work I've read---though I never
got to meet him personally--it would be interesting (as a tribute) of
any others wanted to talk of any encounters with him in person, or with
his writing.
What are your favorite essays, book excerpts, by him, etc?
Chris
