Subject: Shakespeare Related Comic
I love the daily comics. I view them as a window on politics and pop
culture. Yesterday, "Frank and Ernest" featured a Shakespeare themed
comic that you can view at
http://www.comics.com/comics/franknernest/archive/franknernest-20070115.html
The comic is titled "Great Moments in Literature: Shakespeare"; a group
of traveling players that includes Shakespeare walk along side a wagon;
Shakespeare announces "I've written a new play all about this prince in
Denmark - - - If only I knew what to call it." A player, who resembles
Burbage, answers, "Don't worry, Bill - - - I'm sure you'll think of a
title by the time we reach the next Hamlet!"
I have found that Shakespeare related comics are a regular feature of
"Frank and Ernest." A search for Shakespeare at
http://www.frankandernest.com/search/index.html yielded twenty hits.
Enjoy,
Hardy
