Assistant Professor of English
McKendree College seeks to fill a one-year position in English
literature and composition. The ability to teach early English
literature from beginnings through 18th century, including courses in
Shakespeare, is required. Experience and interest in teaching
composition is also required. Interest in teaching dramatic literature a
plus. The successful candidate will be eligible to apply when this
position is reclassified as a tenure-track position to begin in the fall
of '08. PhD will be required for tenure track appointment; M.A. or ABD
considered for one-year position. Please submit curriculum vitae and
