Subject: Ian Richardson, AL Rowse & the Dark Lady

Three weeks before his death, Ian Richardson recorded a radio play that
was aired today on BBC Radio 4. Here's the blurb from the BBC website:

In 1973, at the age of 69, Oxford academic A L Rowse published the work
that would establish his name internationally. Shakespeare The Man was
described as 'the first three-dimensional biography of Shakespeare', and
in its most sensational chapter, Rowse claimed to have decoded
Shakespeare's sonnets, finally deciphering the true identity of the
playwright's mysterious Dark Lady.
