Subject: Jay L. Halio Prize in Shakespeare and Early Modern Studies
THE JAY L. HALIO PRIZE IN SHAKESPEARE AND EARLY MODERN STUDIES The
University of Delaware Press announces a competition for the second Jay
L. Halio Prize in Shakespeare and Early Modern Studies. The Press
welcomes submissions, from young as well as established scholars, on all
aspects of English literature and drama from 1580 to 1620. This prize
is named for Jay L. Halio, emeritus professor of English at the
University of Delaware, and chair of the University of Delaware Press
Board of Editors from 1985 to 1997. It carries an award of $1,500.
The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2007.
