I just stumbled across an interview with Ben Kingsley, which includes 
the following:

Do you have a dream project?

Yes, I've just bought the rights to "Will," which is a great book about 
the life of William Shakespeare. It's written by Christopher Rush and we 
have just secured the rights, so that's my next dream project. I have 
others, but that's the first one that I think I'm going to have to tackle.
