Perhaps WS penned the will himself.

For those interested in such things, the current *TLS *contains a rave
review by Laurie Maguire (Magdalen, Oxford) of a new novel called *Will*
by Christopher Rush, which has the dying Shakespeare dictating his will
and ruminating on his life. 'It is linguistically witty and
imaginative', says Maguire, 'as any attempt to ventriloquize Shakespeare
must be (Anthony Burgess is the only other novelist to pass this test)'.
On the other hand, she calls it 'uplifting'. Some of us would regard
that as fair warning.
