Has anybody tabulated the total number of deaths in Shakespeare's plays?
How many characters (named) die onstage or off in all the plays, by
means natural or not? Is there anywhere you know of that this
information has been collected, as I'm sure it must have been?
I'm investigating for a playwriting colleague, and so am not ENTIRELY
sure of the parameters of the inquiry, but these are as I understand
them . . . any help or clues or ideas would be gratefully welcomed and
passed along.
Yours,
Gavin Witt
