Subject: Caedmon LPs
Colleagues:
I am not in the antiques business, so I don't know if these will have
any unusual value. However, I know a person with five LP box recordings
of the Caedmon-issued
HAMLET (Paul Scofield) The box is still sealed.
ROMEO AND JULIET (Claire Bloom and Albert Finney)
THE MERCHANT OF VENICE (Hugh Griffith as Shylock)
MACBETH (Anthony Quayle) This includes a copy of the reading text.
and ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA (Anthony Quayle) This also includes the reading
text.
If these have any collectible value, we would like to know, and we would
entertain offers for them. Of course, replies to this should be offlist.
Thanks,
Jack Heller
