Jack,
We no longer stock music CDs, though we do have a small number of
Shakespeare film soundtracks and period music still on hand (if anyone
is interested in a list, please e-mail me privately. I'd be happy to
make a deal if anyone is interested in buying multiple pieces of 3 or
more). My supplier doesn't carry the Timon any more, either. I did
locate some copies for sale at www.towerrecords.com. I'm sure there are
other sources, as well.
And since I'm mentioning clearance, we do have some video stock at half
price left, too. E-mail me privately for a list of what's left.
Hope that helps,
Tanya Gough

In answer to Jack Heller's question about a recording of the incidental
music that Duke Ellington composed for *Timon of Athens*: in 1993 Varese
Sarabande released a CD of the music as reconstructed, adapted, and
augmented (with additional Ellington-related melodies) by Stanley
Silverman for the Stratford Festival of Canada 1991 revival of the 1963
production that commissioned Ellington's score. Both Stratford
stagings, along with a 1993 National Actors Theatre production on
Broadway, were directed by Michael Langham.
The CD, VSD-5466, is out of print, but copies are apparently available
from sellers affiliated with amazon.com in the U.S. and in Canada.
A few comments on this CD and on the different CD versions of *Such
Sweet Thunder* can be found in my essay "Form and Character in Duke
Ellington's and Billy Strayhorn's *Such Sweet Thunder,* *Borrowers and
Lenders* 1.1 (Spring / Summer 2005) --
http://lachesis.english.uga.edu/cocoon/borrowers/11_index.
I give the essay's complete title to call attention to Strayhorn's
status as co-composer, as well as arranger, of the Shakespearean
suite-just as colleagues and friends have kindly called attention to my
work and that of my co-panelists at SAA in New Orleans.
With thanks and with hopes that this is helpful,
Steve
