Checking the Library of Congress catalogue, I note that Richard Savage 
(1827-1924) transcribed The registers of Stratford-on Avon, in the 
county of Warwick. That would make him an older contemporary of the 
bibliographer William Jaggard (1868-1947), who is also listed in the 
catalog <http://catalog.loc.gov>.
