Subject: Shakespeare Reworked
Dear Shaksper Members,
For a number of years I have been engaged in re-working Shakespeare's
plays into modern English whilst retaining the rhyme and rhythm of the
original. Whilst I fully realise that to some the very idea of
undertaking such a venture is anathema, there may be others who might be
interested in seeing the result.
Now I have completed almost all of the plays - including one from the
apocrypha - I have decided, for a limited time and depending on numbers
interested, to subject one of my reworkings to peer review.
If you would like to read and are prepared to give me some feedback on
my reworked version of 'Romeo and Juliet', please send me an e-mail to:
The work is in PDF format thereby preventing copying and printing and,
in order to open it, you will require a free copy of Adobe Acrobat

I am open to all constructive criticism and thank you in advance for you
