Subject: Standalone Pieces
Of course, everyone knows that Shakespeare has several plays within a
play. But can you help refresh my memory. I need several 20-minute
scripts for only a few actors. I have used the scene in _Henry VIII_
where the two cardinals confront Katharine, The Pirates in Henry VI, and
the actor's subplot in Midsummer Night's Dream. But others like the play
in _Hamlet_, for example, just don't work as standalone pieces. Where
else can I excise a 20-minute script and have it cohesive and
interesting in itself?
