I've just started a project on oaths. The initial paper will be 
delivered as part of the "Shakespeare as Creator of Language" seminar at 
the SAA in Dallas. I could send your colleague a copy.

On a more general note, though, I'm not sure how one separates 
performative (in the Austinian sense) oaths from dramaturgical ones...
