Presented by the University of Leeds, Brunel University & the National
Media Museum
Part of the 14th Bradford International Film Festival and in association
with Dare, a collaborative partnership between Opera North and the
University of Leeds
Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 March 2008

Keynote composer: Patrick Doyle
(Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, Love's Labour's Lost, Nanny
McPhee, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Sleuth)
The theme of this year's conference is 'Shakespeare', though papers
relating to other aspects of film music scholarship may also be
considered. Papers should be a maximum of twenty minutes in length (with
ten minutes for discussion), and abstracts of approximately 150 words

A book containing papers from the 2nd Bradford Film & Music Conference,
"CineMusic? Constructing the Film Score" (edited by David Cooper,
Christopher Fox & Ian Sapiro), will be published in 2008.
The conference fee is 40 pounds for the full conference or 25 pounds for
a single day of the event. This includes lunch, but excludes
accommodation and other meals. Concessions are available. Please do NOT
send payment with your proposal; details of methods of payment are
available on the conference website.
