About Austin Shakespeare
Now in its 23rd season, Austin Shakespeare presents professional theater
with an emphasis on the plays of William Shakespeare.
The company performs year-round in three locations around the city
including and annual FREE productions at Zilker Park's Hillside Theater
for FREE and gives benefit performances at Richard Garriott's replica of
an Elizabethan theater, "The Curtain." Next Fall, Austin Shakespeare
will premiere at the Long Center for the Performing arts new Rollins
Theater.
School, library, afterschool workshops are available year round. Summer
Camps at St. Stephens School,
St. Edwards University and for younger children at Scottish Rite
Children's Theater will start registration soon.
