Subject: The Tenth Annual British Graduate Shakespeare Conference
Dear All,
This is a final reminder that registration to give a paper at the
BritGrad conference 2008 closes on 25th April. The conference is run by
graduate students for graduate students and offers a relaxed and
friendly environment in which to present a paper and meet graduates from
around the world. We welcome papers on any topic in the areas of
Shakespeare or Renaissance studies. Taking place in Stratford-upon-Avon
the conference provides a great base from which to visit the RSC,
Birthplace houses and the excellent libraries of the Shakespeare
Institute and Birthplace Trust.
Plenary speakers include: Peter Holland (University of Notre Dame),
Russell Jackson (University of Birmingham), Kate McLuskie (The
Shakespeare Institute), Sarah Stanton (Cambridge University Press), Gary
Taylor (Florida State University), and Stanley Wells (The Shakespeare
Birthplace Trust).
For further information on how to register visit our website at:
www.shakespeare.bham.ac.uk/britgrad
We look forward to hearing from you in the next ten days.
The BritGrad committee.
