Subject: Re: Shakespeare's Barley
The information regarding drinking of beer is fascinating, but the state of
inebriation of drinkers would be influenced by the amount of alcohol in the
beer. Has anyone calibrated the alcohol percentage of beer brewed according to
early modern recipes?
And then there's all that wine they also drank. At least they knew they needed 8
glasses of liquid a day.
