Subject: New Site: Mobile Open Source Shakespeare
Hello, all --
I would like to invite you to view Mobile Open Source Shakespeare,
particularly if you have a mobile device that can browse the web:
The design is very spare, because the HTML code for the pages is
optimized for the relatively slow speed of a wireless connection. It
will also work quite well in a low-bandwidth scenario, such as in remote
areas without broadband connections to the Internet.
You can read all of Shakespeare's plays, sonnets, and poems on the site.
Also, you can search by keyword and work. The site is a subset of Open
Source Shakespeare (http://www.opensourceshakespeare.org), and so it
does not include all of the features of the main site. The concordance
might be ported over at some point, but I'm not quite sure how to render
it on tiny screens. If anyone has suggestions, please send them along.
And please send suggestions about anything else, too. I would
particularly love to hear how Mobile OSS looks on your device. Special
