If anyone is looking for a less expensive and readily available 
alternative, I'd suggest the 1974 version of The Changeling featured on 
the BBC's Helen Mirren Collection (released last year). The whole set is 
on Amazon and elsewhere, but if you just need it for a short time it's 
even more economical to get the single disc from Netflix. You would, of 
course, be missing out on Hugh Grant's delightfully horrible wig in the 
1993 version, but sacrifices must be made.
