Comment: Re: SHK 20.0139 Middle School Drama
As a fan of Arrigo Boito, "Babylon 5", and Charles Williams, I am the
last to cry "Vox populi, vox Dei". Nevertheless, I stand by my original
position that a play that has been seen and loved by millions cannot
possibly be boring. Of all the faults that a work of art may have, that
is the one that the base vulgar do most heartily condemn.
(By the way, I personally wear a Casio Wave Ceptor that I bought at
Sears, but a quick visit to the Rolex website shows that any aesthetic
judgment on "the Rolex watch" is as empty as an aesthetic judgment on
"the General Motors car".)
